DONIO, SANTA 

"Sue" (nee Cessato) died on January 7, 2015 at the age of 96. A life-long resident of 
Hammonton, Sue graduated from Hammonton High School in 1936, attended beauty 
school and owned and operated The Beauty Mart for many years. 

She was also most active in her church, St. Martinde Porres, where she served as a 
Lector, an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and in numerous other 
capacities. Sue is predeceased by her husband, Salvatore "Buddy" Donio, parents 
Thomas(Angelo) and Santa (Susie) Cessato, siblings Catherine Parisi, John Cessato, 
Amelia Papa, Angelina Santora. and is survived by her four children, Lois C. Hickey 
(Tom), Dennis M. Donio (Nancy), Rev. Thomas S. Donio, and Susan G. Donio; her 
four grandchildren, Sue Ann Curran (Michael), Adrienne Wagemester (Alan), Michael 
Donio (Tiffany), and Michele Shaffer (Stephen), her seven great-grandchildren, 
Thomas and Kathleen Curran, Sydney and Alex Wagemester, Kelsey and Bridget 
Shaffer, and Isabella Donio, and her faithful caregiver and friend, Dodi Cable. 

A viewing is to be held at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Joseph Church on 
Monday, January 12, from 9 to 11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11. 

Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton.
