RALPH DE TOENI VII, son and heir, was born 1255. His marriage and the custody of 
his lands were granted respectively to the Earl of Hereford and Essex and to Edmund, 
the King's son, 12 May 1264, but both were granted to Richard de Brus, 8 August 
1265. He had a protection, going to the March on the King's affairs, 18 November 
1276; was summoned for service in Wales, 1277, 1282, 1283 and 1287, and to the 
Assembly at Shrewsbury, 1283; and nominated attorneys, going beyond seas with the 
Earl of Hereford and Essex, 10 May 1285. Being summoned for service in Gascony, 
1294, he was taken prisoner at Risonces, 31 March 1295, and sent to Paris. He 
married, before 1276, Mary, who was living, 1283. He died, presumably as a prisoner,
