husband. The question is whether Adelaide or someone else is her mother.

Some sites claim she is daughter of Hugues II de Ponthieu and Berthe d'Aumale, and 
that she married a Guillaume d'Argues son of Godefroy Giffard de Bolbec and Beatrix 
d'Arques 
Clarified by Etienne's racinehistoire.free.fr page. She is daughter of Hugues, but her 
husband is indeed son of Richard II.
JWeber says she is Beatrice Malet, daughter of William Malet (b c 1023) and Hesilia 
(Elise) Crispin.
