NORFOLK >> Paul D. Hosch passed away on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012. He was the 
loving husband of Muriel (Burbach) Hosch for 66 years. 
Born Nov. 14, 1921 in Newport, R.I.; the son of the late Delber and Margaret (Hussey) 
Hosch. Paul served in the United States Navy during World War II on a destroyer in 
the South Pacific. After the war, he moved to Long Island, N.Y. where he stayed for 
15 years. He then moved in 1961 to Norfolk. 
He was a member of the Norfolk Board of Education and the Board of Finance. He 
was also a member of the Lions Club, Board of Director at the Norfolk Library and a 
Municipal Agent for the Aged. 
Paul also was a member of the Litchfield County Choral Union and the Torrington 
Yankee Choral Union. 
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Linda Hosch of Barkhamsted 
and Kitty Hosch of Maine; two sisters, Fay Kerins and Ellen Lauzon, both of R.I.; 
grandchildren, David Sverni and his wife Lisa of Barkhamsted and Laura Smith and 
her husband Glenn of Goshen; great-grandchildren, Angela, Juleah, Dennis and 
Kaylyn; two great-great-grandchildren, Nathanial and Zecheriah; and many nieces and 
nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, John and sister, Joan. 
Friends may call on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main 
Street, Winsted from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 21 
at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, Winsted at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Norfolk
