**Daughters of Ankney Donelson and Edith Louisa (IRVIN) NICHOLS:
1. Alice Edith NICHOLS, born 1915, Foster Township. Alice died 1933, Foster 
Township, Marion County, Illinois. On 26 Jan 1933, the Kinmundy Express has, "Alice, 
17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ank NICHOLS, residing west of this city, 
committed suicide Saturday by shooting herself. She left a note stating that she had a 
headache for the past month and it was unbearable. She was a Senior of the 
Sandoval High School and an honor student. Services were held at Zion Church with 
interment in Jones Cemetery."
2. Grace Lucille NICHOLS, born 1917, Foster Township, Marion County, Illinois. 
Lucille married A. Dresden "Drez" HEADLEY.
3. Lela May NICHOLS, born 1920, Foster Township, Marion County, Illinois. Lela May
