**On 30 Jun 2003, The Salem Times-Commoner (Salem, Marion County, Illinois) has, 
"A. D. "Drez" Headley (21 January 1921 — 29 June 2003) Funeral services will be held 
at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem for A. D. "Drez" 
HEADLEY, 82, of Salem, with burial in Jones Cemetery in Alma. Visitation will be from 
5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic Service at 8 p.m. 
Tuesday at the funeral home conducted by the Kinmundy Masonic Lodge and there 
will be a presentation of the flag by the Salem American Legion at the graveside. 
Shalom Renner will officiate the services.Headley died at 4 p.m. on Sunday at his 
home. He was born January 24, 1921, in Alma, the son of George and Eva Thomas 
Headley. He married Lucille NICHOLS on December 4, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri. 
He was a district foreman in the pipeline department of Ashland Oil Company for 48 
years. He attended Kinmundy Methodist Church, was a member of the Kinmundy 
Masonic Lodge and served in the Marines in World War II. Survivors include: his wife; 
one daughter, Shirley BRADLEY and husband Richard of Chicago. Memorials may be 
made to the Jones Cemetery or American Cancer Society."
