Paul A. Copeland, a former resident of Redlands, died Friday, June 17, at his home in 
Olathe, Kan., following an illness. He was 41.

He was born Feb. 3, 1964, in Barstow and grew up in Redlands and Pomona, 
graduating from high school in Pomona.

After high school, he moved to Olathe, Kan., to attend MidAmerica Nazarene 
University, where he met Jayna Wilmoth of Parsons, Kan. They married almost 17 
years ago and had two daughters, Jenay and Ashley, and one son, Drew.

His family attended the Church of the Nazarene while in Redlands, and he was a 
member of the Church of the Nazarene in Olathe.

OLATHE - Paul A. Copeland, 41, of Olathe died Friday, June 17, 2005, in Olathe. 

He was born Feb. 3, 1964, in Barstow, Calif. After growing up in Redlands and 
Pomona, Calif., he moved to Olathe to attend MidAmerica Nazarene University. 

He married Jayna Wilmoth of Parsons. They were married almost 17 years. 

Survivors include his wife; three children, Jenay, Drew and Ashley, all of the home; his 
father, Eber Copeland of Olathe; three sisters, Virginia Morgan of Healdsburg, Calif., 
Peggy Baldwin of Kula, Hawaii, and Sarah Draper of Olathe; and one brother, Michael 
Copeland of Olathe.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Copeland.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at College Church of the 
Nazarene, 2020 East Sheridan, Olathe. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. 
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at College Church of the Nazarene.

Lindenwood Drive, Olathe, 66062. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home of Olathe was in 
charge of arrangements.
