1981 book:
	Stephen farmed his father's farm near Upland, Pa., until 1918. He then 
became a cow tester (for tuberculosis) until 1930. In 1920, he purchased the 
"Mendenhall Farm" from his aunt and uncle William and Jane (Mendenhall) Trimble. In 
1925, Stephen and Eleanor sold the farm and moved to Moylan, Pa. In 1932, Stephen 
worked for the Hillside Cemetery Co. He retired in 1962 or 1963, and he and Eleanor 
moved to Hatboro, Pa., where they were living in 1968. Stephen and Eleanor were 
members of the Religious Society of Friends.
	Memorial services for Eleanor were held on Sept. 15, 1968, at the Upper 
Dublin, Pa., Friends Meetinghouse.
