	Alfred attended Harrisville Friends Primary School, Harrisville, Ohio, and 
Friends Boarding School, Barnesville, Ohio.
	Alfred and Harriet moved onto a farm near his parents' farm and then lived in 
several different places in the same area. When Alfred's mother went to Baltimore, 
Md., to live with Alfred's brother Leslie (1E724426), Alfred and Harriet purchased his 
parents' farm. Alfred also drove a delivery truck for a bakery and then became an 
insurance agent for Landmark; Harriet was his secretary. Alfred and Harriet were 
successful and many awards were bestowed on their insurance business. Alfred was 
active in community affairs, including service on the boards of Friends Boarding 
School and the Walton Home.
In 1981, Harriet lived at Rte. 2, Box 224, Adena, Ohio 43901.
