Leona Mattie (Parlin) Anderson,was born in Livermore Falls in 1890, She married John 
C. Anderson on June 15, 1930 in Bethel, Maine. They owned and operated a farm 
there until Leona's death. They had three children, Charles Edwin, Helen Ester and 
Harold Elwyn

Lena's name was Leona Mattie (April 27, 1890-1944).  There is a record of her name 
as Leona in "The Parlin Geneology" which is not always accurate, but you can find in 
the 1920 Census as Leona Anderson living with husband John her first two children 
and John's mother Effie F.  The 1930 census has Leona and her husband living in 
Bethel with her mother, "Angie L. Parlin"  and all three of her children.  I also have a 
June 30, 1915 record of her marriage in Bethel to John C. Anderson (April 18, 1888-
April 12, 1948).
Leona had three children: Helen Esther Anderson, born abt December 1917, Charles 
Edwin Anderson, born abt October 1918 and Harold Elwyn Anderson born November 
29, 1925.  The birthdays of the first two children I got from the Census records and 
also found all three on a family tree in ancestry.com  
Census records say Leona was a teacher and John was a farmer.
