the Mary H. Thomas who m Abram Beagle, b c 1820 Northern Liberties, Phila. Pa., son 
of Henry and Mary Beagle, m c 1841 in Phila., Pa.? No, she is Mary H. Thomas, born 
in Delaware
Is she the Mary Louisa De Porras, d 20 Jul 1884, Phila, age 64 (1819) b US, widow, 
buried 24 Jul 1884 Woodland Cemetery, Phila, from Phila Death Certs on 
familysearchlabs.org? cause of death senile gangrene in 27th Ward Christ Church 
Hospital, undertaker was Bringhurst YES see below
In 1852 19 Aug, a Jose Manuel R. Deporras, from Spain, declared intention to become 
a citizen. (ancestry.com). He is listed in the "National almanac and annual record" as 
a consular official for New Grenada, in Philadelphia, as of Nov 1862. In another book 
he is listed as working for the consulate of the US of Columbia. Considering there are 
Americans (e.g. SM Waln) also listed, he is probably an employee. That book is 1869, 
another in 1855 (New Granada), another 1854, same place, 
24 July 1884 Phila Inquirer: DE PORRAS On the 20th inst, Mary L, daughter of the 
late Jonathan and ZIllah Maule Thomas, aged sixty-four years. ... funeral at St. 
Matthew's Church, Eighteenth and Girard avenue, this Thursday, at 2 o'clock pm. 
Interment at Woodlands Cemetery.

2207 can't read street (Haimafarin....) IS SHE THEIR DTR??
Is she the Margaret Porras in Phila in the 1870 census?

books, lists Mary L. dePorras as principal of elementary school no.5, Randolph St 
above Franklin Ave. (1853)
From Phila Church and Town Rec on ancestry: Mr. Mary L de Porras confirmed 27 Mar 
1867 at Old St. Paul's RC Church, listed as a communicant in 1867, also a record for 
her burial, instruction to bury her next to Mary S. de Porras, sys born 16 Mar 1820 (but 
her sister Sarah is born on 14 Mar 1820 . . . could someone have mixed up their 
birthdates?), and a notation [month illeg] 26 1861, Mary L De Porras puchasing a lot in 
Woodlands Cemetery
