John attended Westtown Friends School, Westtown, Pa., enrolling in 1857.
	John was a currier. he also had an interest in historical matters; he wrote an 
article entitle "Friends old meetinghouse in Bristol, Pa.", published in the Bucks 
County Historical Society Papers, vol. 4, p. 92-96 (1917).
	John and Charlotte were members of the Religious Society of Friends. Until 
1885, they lived in Phila., Pa. After a brief stay in Fallsington, Pa., they moved to 517 
Radcliffe St., Bristol, Pa. In late 1921 or early 1922, John and Charlotte moved to their 
granddaughter Eleanor Maule Martin Trimble's farm near Concordville, Pa. (see 
1E542111). After John died, Charlotte moved to her daughter Sarah Maule Bartlett's 
home near Burlington, N.J.

He and Charlotte moved from Bristol to Concordville (Trimble farm) in 1921 or 1922.
In 1924, Charlotte moved to her daughter Sarah's home on a farm in Burlington Co.,

graduation (not required before 1860).
