Edward Ault, born April 14, 1900 in Hemlock. Edward graduated from Arthur Hill High 
School in 1919. He served in the Army as an M.P. during World War I . Edward never 
married, and was an electrician for The Ford Motor Company. He lived many years with 
James and Annabelle Berry at 7886 Hamburg Rd., Hamburg Township, Livingston 
County, Michigan. He died of multiple mycloma and medullary failure at McPherson 
Community Health Center in Howell, Michigan on April 10, 1965, at the age of 64 
years. Edward's will stated that all of his property and possessions be left to his friend, 
Mrs. Annabelle Berry and her heirs. He acknowledged his living family but stated "to 
them I leave nothing for the reason that they have not helped me in accumulating 
whatever estate that I may own". His funeral was overseen by Keehn Funeral Home of 
Brighton, Michigan. Rev. Robert Brubaker presided with burial in Oakland Hills
