CARMICHAEL, Calif. -- Dora L. (Broga) Hilton, 73, of Fair Oaks Boulevard, formerly of 
Oxford, Mass., died Friday, March 21, in the Homestead of Fair Oaks in Fair Oaks. 

 Her husband of 44 years, William H. Hilton, died in 1991. She leaves a son, Daniel 
W. Hilton of Gaithersburg, Md.; two daughters, Carol J. Casey of Barton, Vt., and 
Ruby ''Joy'' Lindberg of Sacramento, Calif.; three brothers, Harry W. Broga of 
Edgewater, Fla., Douglas C. Broga of Southbridge, Mass., and Robert E. Broga of 
Feeding Hills, Mass.; three sisters, Bernice E. Rice of Warren, Mass., Helen L. 
Gagliardi of West Brookfield, Mass., and Mildred Henderson of Linville, Ky.; six 
grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; many nephews and nieces. A sister, Virginia H. 
Jones, predeceased her. She was born in Stafford Springs, Conn., daughter of Harry 
P. and Dora C. (Sherman) Broga, and lived in Brimfield, Mass., Charlton, Mass., 
Sterling, Mass., Oxford, Vermont and Maryland before moving here in 1995. She 
graduated in 1947 from Charlton High School. 

 Mrs. Hilton was a bookkeeper at Boston Beef Co. in Worcester, Mass., for four years, 
retiring several years ago. She was a former member of First Congregational Church in 
Oxford, past secretary of the music committee, past president of the Women's 
Fellowship, and a member of the church's choir and music committee. She was a 
former member of the Ecumenical Choir of Oxford and a former member of the Couple's 
Club of the First Congregational Church in Oxford. She was a past president of the 
Oxford Rainbow Girls. 

 No funeral service is planned. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial 
Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Paradis Funeral Home, 
357 Main St., Oxford (www.paradisfuneralhome.com), is directing arrangements.
