1934 - 2009 
 FEEDING HILLS - Robert E. Broga, 74, of Feeding Hills passed away on March 10, 
2009 at Baystate Medical Center. Bob spent his early years in Sturbridge, MA. Later 
moving to Springfield, East Longmeadow, and then to Feeding Hills where he lived for 
the past 40 years. He is predeceased by wife, Carol (Plaus) Broga, a former nurse at 
Baystate Medical Center. Bob is survived by his loving children - Daughters Susan 
Monson of Orange Park, FL; Diana Morrow of Agawam, Cheryl Broga of Lake Mary, 
FL; son Glenn Broga of Crawfordville, FL; step-children Scott Goehlert of Springfield; 
and Barbara Davignon of Wilbraham. He also leaves behind his sisters Dolly 
Henderson of Eubank, NY; Helen Gagliardi of Ludlow; and brother Doug Broga of 
West Dudley, MA. Bob worked many years in the hardware business last working as a 
manager at Lumber Center in Westfield. Bob spent most of his retirement years 
cultivating his bountiful vegetable garden. Many friends, family, and neighbors shared 
in and enjoyed the summer and fall harvest. He was a member of the Feeding 
Congregational Church where he loved to sing and was appreciated for doing solos. 
Always active in church mission work, he is probably best remembered for his 
participation in crop-walk and Parish Cupboard. The funeral will be held Saturday, 
March 14, 2009 at 11:00am at the Southwick Community Episcopal Church, 660 
College Highway, Southwick, MA. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 13, 2009 
from 4:30 - 6:30pm at the Church. The Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home is 
handling all arrangements and donations may be made to the Parish Cupboard, 1023 
Main St. West Springfield, MA 01089.
