Naomi K. Watts, 91, of Shelby, NY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 12, 
2015 at her home, with her loving family at her side. 

 Born on July 26, 1923, in the Town of Barre, NY she was the daughter of the late 
Thomas E. and Kathryn (Vincent) Anstey. 

 Naomi grew up on the Hemlock Ridge Road in Town of Barre and attended a one-
room Schoolhouse on Crane Road. She graduated from Medina High School in 1941 
where she had perfect attendance her entire school career. In 1947, she married 
Sidney J. Watts and they made their home on Blair Road in Shelby, NY. Besides her 
main and full time job as homemaker and mother to ten children, she had worked as a 
cook at the Wise Jr. High School and lastly at Orchard Manor retiring in 1984. She 
attended East Shelby Community Bible Church. She was the last charter member of 
Shelby Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid sewer and enjoyed spending time 
with her ten children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild and 
an occasional trip to Atlantic City. 

 She is survived by six sons and four daughters, James (Sheryl) Watts, Margie (John) 
Stachewicz, Patricia (David) Musto, Susan (Zoltan) Koleszar, Sidney E. "Buster" 
Watts, Howard (Elaine) Watts, Gary (Robyn) Watts, Dale (Mary) Watts, Mark (Denise) 
Watts, and Diane (Justin) Ennis; stepson, Richard (Judy) Watts; 25 grandchildren, 34 
great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, Marie Anstey and 
Doris Anstey; several nieces and nephews. 

 Naomi is the last of her generation of the Anstey family. She was predeceased by her 
parents; husband of 48 years, Sidney J. Watts; seven brothers; two sisters; and one 
daughter-in-law. 

 Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at 
the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, NY 14103. A funeral service 
will be held 11 AM on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the East Shelby Community Bible 
Church, 5278 East Shelby Road, Medina, NY 14103 with Pastor Eric Olsen officiating. 
Burial will be at the Millville Cemetery. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Naomi's name to the Shelby Fire Co., PO 
Box 1, Medina, NY 14103 or Hospice of Orleans Co., PO Box 489, Albion, NY 14411
