Vincent W. Anstey, a retired employee of Chase Bag Co. of Buffalo, died Monday 
(April 30, 2001) in Lancaster (S.C.) Convalescent Center. He was 89. 

 A native of Medina, Anstey worked at Chase for 20 years before moving to South 
Carolina. 

 He was the widower of Verna P. Anstey. 

 Survivors include a son, Vincent of Rock Hill, S.C.; a daughter, Deanna Miller of 
Rhonda, Fla.; three brothers, Roderick of Venice, Fla., Norman of Paris, Tenn., and 
Cedric of Medina; a sister, Naomi Watts of Medina; five grandchildren; and eight 
great-grandchildren. 

 A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Greene Funeral Home, Rock Hill. Burial will 
be in Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Rock Hill.
